Philodendron 'Golden Saw' also widely known as Jungle Boogie aurea or Golden Crocodile is a spectacular, rare tropical variety belonging to the popular Philodendron genus. As a prominent member of the Aroid family, this plant is part of a lineage heavily located across Latin America. This architectural foliage plant stands out for its elongated, deeply serrated or jagged leaves that emerge with a rich golden yellow hue, transitioning into a vibrant neon or golden-green tint as they mature. The undulating margins give the foliage its distinctive sawtooth look. It is a highly resilient and easy to grow plant, that adapts exceptionally well to various indoor environments.
Growth Habit
This tropical plant features a striking upward growth habit. While its serrated leaves can grow up to 3 to 4 feet long in the wild, it typically reaches a maximum indoor leaf length of around 1 to 2 feet. It exhibits a strong, fully-rooted foundation and benefits greatly from a structural support pole to climb.
Watering Requirement
This resilient plant thrives with moderate watering. Keep the soil slightly moist but never soggy or waterlogged to prevent root rot. Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry out almost completely between watering sessions. Always ensure excellent drainage and take care never to let the container sit in excess standing water.
Ideal Placement
Place Philodendron 'Golden Saw' in a warm indoor area with bright, indirect light, such as near a filtered window or in a bright room away from harsh direct sun. It can tolerate moderate or lower light, but too little light may reduce its golden color and cause leggy growth. It prefers warm, humid conditions around 18–27°C.

Gift Orders: For gift orders, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all recipient details are accurate. We are not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries due to incorrect information or unavailability of the recipient.
